My name is Naor Zaken, and I am a turner & carver who uses green wood and specializing in creating unique and functional handmade kitchen utensils that combine art and tradition.

• I was born in 2001 and began my journey into wood carving in 2016. Throughout my life, I have always been fascinated by trees and the act of creation, constantly seeking to find myself within these elements. During one of my woodland trips, I decided that I wanted to stir my coffee and tea with a wooden spoon that I carved myself, and that moment marked the beginning of my crafts journey.

• My inspiration comes from observing and learning from craft wood artists who preserve the traditional craft of carving. They taught me the depths and intricacies of the trade. All my works are meticulously handmade without the use of power tools, allowing me to maintain the natural and living essence of the wood.

• I strive to continue developing my art and sharing the joy of creation with more and more people. I believe that through the act of creation, and particularly through working with wood, it is possible to bring joy and tranquility into people’s lives. Therefore, I feel committed to creating and sharing my knowledge with others
